Do you practise catch and release?

Catch and release - Leigh Rubes Cartoons

Catch and release: the practice, after catching a fish, of unhooking and returning it to the water before it experiences serious exhaustion or injury. Please use barbless hooks wherever possible and, if you can, avoid removing the fish from the water altogether.

Check out this video, which demonstrates rather nicely how to release a salmon

James Green About James Green

James Green loves nothing more than casting a fly in pursuit of salmon, seatrout or, when the opportunity arises, a tailing bonefish, tarpon or permit.
