I know exactly what you mean, Lenley. This kind of reel would be no good for the saltwater species like tarpon, where you need a sealed drag, but for cold water species like salmon and steelhead, I can’t think of anything I’d rather use!

I had one of these reels with me on the Deschutes this fall. Its a screamer when you have a fish on. I love the clicks when you get the line out there on a long spey cast – you know you got it right when the reel gives up another foot.

I could see a copy right infringement coming to this video I’m glad I got to see only wish I would have saved. Just to say what’s on my mind because I never hold back. I wonder witch suck got up set about his fishing video being halite in a video I’d love to have one of my angling moments eternalized is such a grate video. So Im going to say it you fatty suck balls
