On the same trip I had caught my first ever barracuda, kingfish and shark on fly. I was on a total high. For the rest of that day I sat happily puffing and watching my boat-partner fish. There was simply no way of upping my enjoyment of the week.

Pike on Fly at Canada’s Wollaston Lake
Wollaston Lake is a haven for the fly angler. We caught 100 pike, including five 20s, and sixteen walleye. I recommend it wholeheartedly and will be back!

Fun on the Bayou – Mississippi Redfish & Black Drum
To my delight the fish shot forward and engulfed my fly. In a flash all spare line was gone, and the reel screamed in protest, as the beast took off for the horizon.
