For those of you who appreciate English humour, this might make you chuckle…
The Fast Show was a popular comedy sketch show, made by the BBC in the 1990s. Fittingly enough it was called ‘Brilliant’ in the USA, although with lines like this, it’s perhaps a bit of a surprise that the English humour was popular there too:
“Don’t get cocky, Peter, you’re not an American.”
Anyway, although I’m pleased to say this guy is nothing like fishing with my own father, Mike Green, there are definitely a lot of things in this sketch that ring true – reminding me of various fishing trips over the years. I hope you enjoy it!
